The TAIMA TB steering committee was made up of 11 members (90% Iqalummiut). Members were from Nunavut Tunngavik Inc, Government of Nunavut (representing Qikiqtani General Hospital, Iqaluit Public Health, and the Health Protection division of the Department of Health & Social Services) and the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute & University of Ottawa.
The mandate of the committee is to have a platform where members participate directly in decision making in the overall guidance of the project and are given timely updates on TAIMA TB activities. Partners have pointed to it as a model for future health promotion collaboration.
